Job Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Operations Assistant for a 4-month temporary role to support our maintenance department. This position will assist with coordinating inspections, managing work orders, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate aircraft records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of ensuring compliance with FAA regulations while supporting daily maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities: ● Schedule and track aircraft inspections to ensure compliance. ● Maintain an updated maintenance inspection planner aligned with the flight schedule. ● Manage due items on all aircraft using CAMP or equivalent tracking systems. ● File and maintain aircraft log pages, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. ● Create and update work orders, word log entries, and FAA forms. ● Enter log details into aircraft logbooks and maintain organized records. ● Process purchase orders and manage tool calibration schedules. ● Liaise with vendors for part overhauls, exchanges, and orders. ● Place parts orders and track deliveries. ● Process invoices and analyze monthly aircraft hours for reporting. ● Communicate maintenance needs and updates with the Director of Maintenance. ● Coordinate with the charter department to approve flight requests based on aircraft readiness. |

Qualifications:
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and maintenance tracking software (CAMP or similar). ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance documentation, and work orders. ● Experience with vendors, purchase orders, and invoice processing. ● Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance teams, vendors, and flight operations personnel.
